The Wrong End Of The Stick

Length: 9:38
Director: Terri Matthews

The blurb: Malcolm Fetcher is a neurotic, middle-aged teacher lost in a dull marriage with his wife of twenty years. As he faces an all-consuming identity crisis, their marriage disintegrates and he is forced to express a deep, hidden desire…

This mix of animation and real-life footage tells the story of a man who realises he wants to be a dog – a “furry”. This fetish comes as a surprise to his wife. The whole thing is dealt with subtlety and it really does a good job at putting you into Malcolm’s shoes – or paws, perhaps.

Although be warned, there are more than a few unsightly testicles in this film.
