Porn Chic
The blurb: Porn chic is a fashion film merged with documentary that aims to explore how and why the lines between fashion and pornography are becoming blurred. Focusing on porn star Samantha Bentley, exploring why she decided to enter the industry. The film will depicts how fashion imagery can be seen as something erotic, artistic, empowering, and creative. Juxtaposing this with popular feminist view that pornography degrades, dehumanises and presents women as objects, to satisfy the male need.
I’m not sure if the director achieves all the lofty aims stated in the film’s description but it’s worth watching because it gives porn star Samantha Bentley a platform to discuss her work.
