This short was a total roller coaster to watch. I had no idea where it was going. When curating sex-related films for the Film Festival section, I’ll try to make sure they’re not violent or offputting. For a second near the end, I honestly thought I couldn’t post this. And then the double twist just left me stunned. The whole thing hits so many different emotional marks as it winds from cringe comedy to pathos to laugh-out-loud moments and then suddenly it’s a horror film. The acting of all three performers is superb, the writing is sharp and the whole thing is just incredibly well put together. It’s an absolute treat.
