This short film has no official title. It was screened prior to the Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2009 fashion show. It stars indie musician and actor Michael Pitt who has previously appeared in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
Created by fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the film focuses solely on Michael’s face as an unseen woman speaks erotically about clothing. It’s all in French which naturally gives it that smokey arthouse feel. Is it erotic or pretentious? You decide.
